Fullmetal Alchemist Special Playing Cards (Vol. 13 first-print bonus) — look, don’t shuffle

A 2006 Square Enix bonus deck with strong face-card art and a weak playset: buy it as a display piece, not as a table deck.

For you if

You want Arakawa-era character portraits on aces/faces and the two Jokers, and you already accept a cardboard sleeve instead of a proper case.

Not for you if

You want every pip card illustrated, a plastic tuck box, or a deck you will actually deal for hours.

30-second facts

  • Bonus packed with Fullmetal Alchemist vol. 13 first limited special edition (Square Enix / Gangan Comics), published March 2006.
  • Special-edition volume ISBN: 978-4-7575-1619-9.
  • Official contents: 52 cards + 2 Jokers; full-color character cards; Hiromu Arakawa original cards included (publisher copy names Ed, Roy, Yoki among them).
  • Face cards and aces carry cast art; ranks 2–10 are number pips only.
  • Sleeve is layered corrugated board, not a standard tuck box. Keep it dry.

Price (now)

  • Official: not sold separately at release; came with the special-edition volume.
  • Yahoo Auctions (closed, cards-only / bonus-only): about ¥200–¥1,100; several sold around ¥700–¥900. Sample is small.
  • Mercari / Rakuma: listings appear; one Rakuma sold example at ¥750 (unopened cards). Live stock is thin.
  • Read as: used bonus deck, roughly ¥700–¥1,500 depending on sleeve condition and whether the Gangan case is included. Do not treat book+cards lots as the same SKU.

How to buy

Search used JP marketplaces. Ask for photos of the sleeve edges (warping is common) and a count of 54 cards. Prefer listings that show the Arakawa Jokers.

One line

Pretty court cards from 2006; skip it if you wanted a full illustrated play deck.
