Quick Verdict
One Piece × ROUND1 collaboration promo cards: a full 10-card complete set of the Straw Hat crew, each playing a different sport at the entertainment chain. I watched Mercari listings every week and finally bought the complete set last week from a seller I trust, at a price I found reasonable. No embossing, but a holographic finish; the same card quality as the regular One Piece Card Game. Effect text stripped to the minimum, backgrounds left open — a promo done right. Not a must-buy for everyone, but if you collect One Piece cards broadly, worth considering before listings dry up. The campaign ended October 17, 2026.

What’s the Campaign?
ROUND1’s first simultaneous Japan–US anime collaboration: July 18 to October 17, 2026, across 159 locations — 100 in Japan, 59 in the US. The One Piece Card Game ROUND1 Promotion Pack holds 10 original designs; one pack held one random card. All illustrations were newly drawn exclusively for the event. I covered ROUND1 in my One Piece card collab list https://sayamaha.wordpress.com/2026/10/16/3383/ as well.

What’s the Concept?
ROUND1 is a comprehensive entertainment venue — bowling, billiards, karaoke, arcade. Each of the ten Straw Hats plays a different game, in modern casual outfits mixed with the sport: Luffy throwing a bowling ball, Nami with billiards (cue and balls), Zoro with baseball (bat), Usopp with darts, Sanji with soccer, Chopper with bowling pins, Robin with basketball, Franky on a mini-bike, Brook with a microphone (karaoke), Jinbe with table tennis. The per-character feel is strong; poses and expressions look natural. It fits absurdly well.

How’s the Card Quality?
No embossing or debossing, but a holographic treatment across the cards. Same stock and quality as regular One Piece Card Game cards. The card text is stripped to the minimum and the backgrounds are barely covered — the less-is-more approach makes for a better promo card.

Why Buy Secondhand?
I watched Mercari listings every single week before pulling the trigger last week. Going to Japan to buy them myself was never an option — neither the nerve nor the budget. One pack holds one random card out of ten, so completing the set that way would cost an unknown amount. Then I saw posts about pack searching, which made every sealed pack suspect. A complete set, at a price within my line, from a seller I could trust — there was no other choice. Whether prices go up or down from here, nobody knows — but the hours spent watching are money too. I’d watched enough. The campaign ended October 17, 2026; now secondhand is the only route.
