Hazbin Hotel Season One Blu-ray with the PR-20 promo card: I heard the promo card was still being included, so I ordered it together with the Season 2 Blu-ray. A paper slipcover over a plastic CD-style case holding two discs (episodes 1–4, 5–8), a folded poster, and the HATE WATCH promo card (PR-20) with a glitter finish. $25 for the promo plus Season 1 — not a bad price for a fan. The folded poster arrived with deep creases, and the CD-style case for a Blu-ray is a mild letdown.
What’s in the Box?
A paper slipcover (front and back key visuals) over a plastic case. Inside: two discs — Disc 1 with episodes 1–4, Disc 2 with episodes 5–8 — plus a folded poster and the promo card tucked in beside the booklet. There’s also a printed art piece of the characters by the fireplace.
What’s the PR-20 Promo Card?
HATE WATCH, marked PROMO and PR-20. It features Valentino, Vox, and Velvette — the Vees — with a glitter finish. Valentino and Velvette’s sulky expressions are the best part. It’s made for the Hazbin Hotel Trading Cards line, which makes it a proper collector’s item rather than a throwaway extra.
Any Letdowns?
Two. The discs sit in a CD-style case, which feels off for a Blu-ray release. And since these are Blu-ray discs, watching them directly means buying a separate drive — my computer has no optical drive, which is inconvenient. The poster ships folded, and the creases are deep; the worst folds show whitening.
