Hazbin Hotel Bad Bitches Promo Cards Review – Two Cards, One Illustration

Quick Verdict

Two promo cards that only complete each other. PR-30 (Valentino) and PR-31 (Velvette), both titled BAD BITCHES, split one cauldron scene across two cards — line them up and the illustration joins into a single image. A postcard from the BFF Postcard Set, of the same duo — bought separately, and added here because this pairing deserved more than two cards. The show only ever hinted that these two get along. The merch went straight to BFF.

Two Cards, One Illustration

The artwork is a single continuous scene divided between the pair. Valentino reclines on the left card, all hearts and sharp grin. Velvette works the right card, stirring the cauldron between them. Across the two cards, the cauldron’s rim curve and the rising bubbles line up — one drawing, split in two.

Both cards carry a glitter finish, sitting in the bubbles, the hat bands and the surface of the potion, and the glitter follows the same artwork across both cards.

The Postcard: BFF Postcard Set

The postcard was a separate purchase, not part of the card set. It puts the same duo on a shopping run, arms full of bags. Valentino towers in his heart-patterned coat, holding a bat lettered VALENTINO. Velvette walks in front of him, laughing, a single card in her hand. Same pairing as the promo cards, completely different energy — the cards are all potion-room mood, the postcard is a day out.

Why This Duo Works

In the show, Valentino and Velvette read as colleagues who occasionally click. Together, they commit to much more than that: a shared card title, a shared illustration and a postcard set literally named BFF. It turns a background chemistry into the whole point of the product, and honestly, the artwork earns it. I waited about two months for these to arrive and have no regrets at all. If a follow-up series appears, that is an automatic purchase.
