Frieren Enimai Kuji G-Prize Clear Poster Review – Bigger than you’d think

Quick Verdict

This is the Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Enimai Kuji G-prize clear poster set — all 6 types, and despite the “clear card” naming, it is not a TCG or a trading card. The set includes Frieren, Himmel, Aura, Linie, Stark, and Fern, each with a holographic border and the character’s name printed at the bottom. The artwork is genuinely beautiful and the outfits are stylish. One critical warning: these are poster-sized, not card-sized. I bought them expecting trading-card dimensions and was shocked when the package arrived.

What’s in the Package

The package front reads エニマイくじ 葬送のフリーレン G賞 クリアポスター 全6種 against a pastel floral background. The back carries the standard cautions along with the material (PET), MADE IN CHINA, ages 15 and up, the ©Kanehito Yamada, Tsukasa Abe / Shogakukan / “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End” Production Committee mark, and the distributor Leggs (株式会社レッグス). Notably, no size is listed anywhere on the package — which is exactly how I ended up surprised.

The Six Posters

All six designs are shown together: Frieren, Himmel, Aura, Linie, Stark, and Fern. Each poster has a holographic frame border that catches the light, with the character’s name printed beneath the illustration. The art style is soft and elegant, and the fashion — ribbons, formal wear, detailed accessories — is a big part of the appeal. This was the reason I bought the set on sight.

The Size Issue

This is the most important part of this review. The product name says “clear card,” so I assumed card-sized collectibles and bought the set for 900 yen without checking further. When it arrived, the posters were far larger than any trading card — holding one next to a One Piece card game card makes the difference obvious. They are absolutely not 1:1 with card size. If you are buying because the price looks cheap, stop and confirm the size first.

What Surprised Me

The sheer size was the shock — nothing on the package prepared me for it. But once the surprise wore off, the art won me over. I do wish I had researched a little more before buying, yet I am satisfied with the purchase. I am writing this so nobody else has to learn the size the hard way.

Who It’s For

Frieren fans who want large, displayable clear posters and have the wall or shelf space for them. People who love the character fashion art in particular.

Who It’s Not For

Anyone expecting card-sized collectibles — confirm the dimensions before buying. Also not for small-display collectors, since these need real space.
