Cosmic Princess Kaguya! Twin Wafers Complete Set Review – All 35 cards

Quick Verdict

This is the Cosmic Princess Kaguya! (超かぐや姫！) Twin Wafers complete set — all 35 metallic plastic cards including 3 secrets. It is not a TCG; each retail pack contains one card plus two vanilla cream wafers, and I bought the full complete set rather than pulling packs. The set covers every character plus key movie scenes printed on both sides of the cards. Watching the film on Netflix moved me enough to rewatch it several times, and these cards feel like holding the movie in my hands. One serious warning: the cards contain major story scenes, so watch the film first — do not let these spoil it for you.

What’s in the Set

The product is the 超かぐや姫！ツインウエハース, released August 2026, ©Colorido / Twin Engine Partners. The lineup spans 35 designs: character cards, scene cards, and 3 secret cards with holographic finishes. Since the retail packs are blind, I went straight for the full complete set of all 35 types.

Character Cards

The character cards feature the cast with their names printed at the bottom — Mami, Kaguya, Iroha, Yachiyo, Mikado, Rai, Noi, Roka, and more. Each card pairs the portrait with decorative framing that matches the film’s aesthetic.

Scene Cards

The scene cards are the heart of this set. They capture important moments from the film on both the front and back, so flipping through them genuinely feels like rewatching the movie. The selection covers character concepts through pivotal scenes, and seeing them laid out together makes it instantly clear how a single anime film captivated so many people.

Secret Cards

The 3 secret cards use holographic processing with the 超かぐや姫！ logo. They are the Black Onyx group — Mikado Akira, Noi, and Rai — and they stand out immediately from the regular cards when tilted under light.

The Spoiler Warning

I want to say this plainly to anyone reading: watch the anime film before looking at these cards. They contain too many crucial scenes — viewing the cards first would genuinely spoil the experience. The correct order is the film first, then hunt down the product.

What Surprised Me

I did not expect to get this hooked. I now listen to the songs during my commute and rewatch the film after work. The afterglow of the movie is exactly what drove this purchase — and if that afterglow is still with you after watching, it is not too late to get these into your hands. Just heed the warning above.

Who It’s For

Fans who watched the film and want the afterglow in physical form. Collectors who appreciate scene-based card sets.

Who It’s Not For

Anyone who has not seen the film yet — watch it first. Also not for players looking for a playable card game; these are collectible wafer bonus cards with no game function.
