One Piece × Ginza Nishikawa Collab Cards Review – A Bread Brand Made These? Full 12-Card Set

Ginza Nishikawa Collab

Quick Verdict

This is the One Piece × Ginza Nishikawa collaboration card set — all 12 types. Yes, Ginza Nishikawa, the Japanese premium shokupan brand built on “water-obsessed” high-end toast, made One Piece cards for the anime’s 25th anniversary. These are collectible collaboration cards, not a TCG. The lineup covers all ten Straw Hats plus Jewelry Bonney and Dr. Vegapunk, each in a unique outfit with strikingly long boots, set against an identical background on all twelve cards. The fronts carry brush-style Japanese calligraphy — ワンピース, 銀座に志かわ, and the brand’s “水にこだわる高級食パン” tagline — giving them a festival-poster feel that clashes wonderfully with the sci-fi outfits. Chopper’s flying pose is the cutest of the lot. The uniform background is the one letdown; otherwise this is a thoroughly satisfying set with illustrations too distinctive to pass up.

Wait, a Bread Brand Made These?

Ginza Nishikawa (銀座に志かわ) is a well-known Japanese premium shokupan brand. For the One Piece anime’s 25th anniversary, the two collaborated on this card set. I only learned it existed recently, going down a rabbit hole of related One Piece goods — related to related to related — and the timing is slightly past the campaign. Campaign goods like these rarely get reissued, so secondhand was the only route, and I picked up the full 12-type set at some cost.

Who’s in the Lineup?

All ten Straw Hats plus two: Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky, Brook, Jinbe, Jewelry Bonney, and Dr. Vegapunk. Everyone wears a unique outfit with strikingly long boots: Luffy in a red SSG coat, Zoro in a black jacket, Nami in a white top, Usopp in green, Sanji in a floral shirt, Chopper in a blue suit, Robin in black, Franky in purple and orange, Brook in a yellow long coat, Jinbe in a pink floral shirt, Bonney in a purple suit, and Vegapunk in his white coat. Chopper floats in a flying pose that steals the show.

The Back

ONE PIECE

What Bugged Me

The background is identical across all twelve cards — same clouds, same island silhouette. Fine once, noticeable twelve times. That’s the one complaint; there’s genuinely nothing else to point at. A varied background per card would have made this set perfect.

Who It’s For (and Not For)

For One Piece collectors who like oddball collaborations — a bread-brand collab is about as distinctive as it gets. For fans of Bonney and Vegapunk goods, which are still relatively rare. Not for anyone expecting a playable card game, and not for buyers who need varied backgrounds. When buying secondhand, confirm all 12 types are present — the backs are identical, so check the fronts. If the identical background bothers you, the fronts still carry enough character detail to hold up.
