Quick Verdict
- These are the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train movie playing cards — a standard poker deck, not a TCG, with no game rules involved.
- Only the A, J, Q, and K carry illustrations: Rengoku on the Kings, Zenitsu on the Queens, Inosuke on the Jacks, and Tanjiro and Nezuko on the Aces, all taken from movie scenes.
- The problem is that each face card reuses the same illustration across all four suits, so you get the same Rengoku four times, the same Zenitsu four times, and so on.
- I expected much more from a Mugen Train-themed product, and this ended up being one of my most disappointing purchases.
What’s in the Box
The box front is red with the movie logo printed large — 劇場版 鬼滅の刃 無限列車編 — along with the words PLAYING CARDS. The card backs use a wisteria-and-butterfly design in a red-and-black color scheme, which honestly looks nice, and carry the ©KG/S, A, U mark.
The Face Cards
Illustrations appear only on the A, J, Q, and K. The Kings show Rengoku, the Queens show Zenitsu, the Jacks show Inosuke, and the Aces are split between Tanjiro and Nezuko. Each illustration is a still taken from the film, so the art quality itself is fine.
The Reuse Problem
Here is where the product falls apart for me. The J, Q, and K each use one single illustration repeated across all four suits — spades, hearts, diamonds, and clubs all show the identical image. The Aces are Tanjiro on two suits and Nezuko on the other two. At minimum, I felt each suit deserved its own artwork, especially for a product trading on the Mugen Train name.
What Surprised Me
The card back design genuinely surprised me in a good way — the wisteria and butterfly motif in red and black looks sharp in hand. Everything else about the face-card layout surprised me in the opposite direction. Flipping through the deck and seeing the same Rengoku four times in a row was the moment my expectations broke.
Who It’s For
Demon Slayer collectors who want a Mugen Train-branded deck, or anyone who mainly cares about the card back design.
Who It’s Not For
Anyone expecting varied illustrations across the deck. If repeated artwork bothers you, this one will disappoint.

How to Check
Ask the seller for photos of the face cards across different suits, so you can confirm the repeated-artwork layout before buying. Also ask for a photo of the card back, since that is the strongest part of this product.
