Riftbound x K/DA Couture Collection Review – The Cards Come Slotted Inside a Magazine-Style Booklet

Quick Verdict

A premium Riftbound collection where the cards don’t come in packs at all — each one sits inside a booklet styled like a magazine, on a full page that extends its own artwork. The packaging runs three boxes deep, and the book alone justifies opening it instead of keeping it sealed.

What is this collection?

The Riftbound x K/DA Couture Collection, a limited set for Riot’s League of Legends card game built around new K/DA artwork by Fortiche, the studio behind Arcane. In Korea it sold through KREAM on October 27, 2026, first-come-first-served at ₩200,000. The box holds four collectible Legend cards, one Battlefield card, a playmat, a deck box, a pack of 75 card sleeves, four D12 metal dice, and a FIRESTARTER KiT keychain.

How is it packaged?

Three layers. The big outer box opens along a printed flap covered in the four members’ emblems — and then its bottom is plain black with no print at all, the first small letdown. Inside sits a second box, printed on its top and opening flap but bare everywhere else. It is, honestly, over-packaging — but nothing inside is going to arrive scratched, and the unboxing itself becomes part of the fun. Opening the inner box reveals the red K/DA box, the long mat box, and the card book — with the KiT keychain hidden underneath the book.

The playmat

The mat unrolls into a full concert stage: a packed amphitheater crowd in magenta and gold, with the four members as white silhouettes on stage, and the game’s zones worked into the scene. It is bigger than expected — getting it into a single photo took several attempts.

Deck box and dice

The red box holds the deck box and the dice. The deck box is patterned with the members’ emblems, and the inside of its lid is printed with the full K/DA group artwork — the care goes all the way into places you only see when you open it. The four D12s are metal and properly heavy, each face carrying numbers and a member’s emblem, in a red that reads as strongly in person as it looks.

The sleeves

One pack of K/DA card sleeves, 75 in the pack. These are… fine. Nothing about them matches the effort spent on the rest of the box.

The card book

This is the best thing in the collection. The booklet is styled to feel like a magazine — “VOLUME 001” on the cover, the four members’ names listed like cover lines — and a clear plastic case keeps it rigid and protected. Inside, each member gets a full spread: the page is one large painting, and the matching card sits in the page so the card and its background read as a single artwork. The final spread is the stadium scene, holding the Battlefield card. It stops feeling like storage and starts feeling like an exhibition. Of everything in this box, this is the piece that goes beyond satisfaction — it is the part worth keeping permanently, and it only works if you open it.

Which cards are included?

Legend — Nine-Tailed Fox (Ahri) Legend — Rogue Assassin (Akali) Legend — Agony’s Embrace (Evelynn) Legend — Daughter of the Void (Kai’Sa) Battlefield — Packed Amphitheater

All five are English-language cards with the new Fortiche artwork and a glittering foil finish; the card back is the black-and-gold League of Legends design.

The KiT keychain

The FIRESTARTER KiT keychain connects to a phone to play K/DA’s newest single and its music video through the KiT app. Setting it up is fun, but the content is the same material already public on YouTube, so the novelty is thin. The ball-chain keyring format, at least, makes it easy to actually carry.
